Supporting the Project
Supporting Local
The Georgetown Neighborhood Food Project is built on the power of neighbors helping neighbors — and our local businesses play a key role in making that possible. By sponsoring our work, you not only help provide food security to families right here in Georgetown, but you also show your commitment to building a stronger, more connected community.
Your Impact
The Georgetown Neighborhood Food Project is creating real, local impact and we’re growing fast. Every two months, more neighborhoods join in, helping collect thousands of pounds of food that stay right here in Georgetown to support families in need. Since June, we have already collected over 6,000 pounds of food and we are not slowing down.
As we expand, we’re looking for local businesses to join us as community sponsors to help sustain this growth. Your support directly funds the bags, materials, and logistics that make this simple, grassroots system work and reflects your organization’s commitment to fighting hunger and strengthening our community year-round.
Why Us?
As a supporter, your business becomes part of a movement that unites neighborhoods, reduces hunger, and strengthens our community. Community support helps cover the cost of essential materials – like bags, magnets, pamphlets, and more – as well as the labor that makes our project possible.
Unique to our project, your tax-deductible donation will also give you community visibility through advertising on our materials. Based on your donation amount, supporting organizations can receive year-round recognition across our print materials, website, social media, community events, and more. It’s an authentic way to show your commitment to the Georgetown community and help feed thousands of local families.
